Exploragym Preschool offers exciting opportunities for your child. We present a great variety of enrichment activities, in addition to exclusive, especially designed curriculum and activity guide. This goes hand in hand with our perceptual movement activties in our enticing gym room.

9:00-10:15 FREE PLAY:
Free play always has new and interesting ingredients in the art cart, play house, block and truck area and puzzle table, to interest a child when arriving.  Our gym room has weekly changes with a new floor plan that makes new challenges for the children when they come in at the first of the week. We always have something inviting for the children to do on the table near the door as they say goodbye to Mom or Dad and teachers are there to interact with your child in welcome.
Exploragym is a very warm and friendly place to be. 
Free play is an important part of the day.  It is our plan that free play will become a catalysis,  a favorite time, when your child will interact in unstructured play with friends. It is an important ingredient to social development.

10:30-10:45 SNACK TIME:
milk, apple slices and graham crackers (we only serve healthy snacks)

10:45-11:15 ART ACTIVITY:
The shape of a snake will already be traced on a paper plate and each child will have to cut on the line to make a coiled snake.  After they finish cutting, they may then paint it, add eyes and glue on sparkles, sprinkle glitter. They may even add Easter grass to look as if the snake is lying down in the grass. 

11:15-11:30 MOVEMENT ACTIVITY:
Music to the "Go" sign course continues as the children move around the room, climbing, sliding, jumping, balancing, hopping, skipping and crawling, as the course indicates while they progress  toward the "Stop"- only to run to find thebeginning and "Go" sign again.
 
EXTRA MUSICAL ACTIVITY:
rhythm sticks- moving to music while tapping out the beat.

1:15-1:30 CIRCLE TIME WITH AFTERNOON GROUP 
Talk about our day

1:30- 2:00 ART TIME Painting at the easel  or other special art of the afternoon and when they are wanting to be finished, they are free to play in the gym room.
2:00-2:30 MOVEMENT TIME:
Gross motor movement activities to music
2:30-3:30 SNACK AND REST TIME
snack time is followed by a little quiet time, teacher reads a story, then the children enjoy other story books on the carpet and have a rest or sleep if needed.
3:30-4:00 OUTSIDE PLAY
going outside to play in the sandbox is a big favorite. After about a half hour we clean up, dust off the sand and go inside. 
4:00-on FREE CHOICE TO PLAY: 
ART CART, FOR GLUEING AND CUTTING, PLAY HOUSE, THOMAS THE TRAIN, CLIMBING IN THE GYM ROOM.
